NCA Academics:

Our Mission is to Provide Youth a Solid Foundation through the implementation of a strong and quality Christian Education. With an emphasis on excellence and our elevated standards, we will create a generation of powerful leaders by birthing individual vision and purpose as we build hope, build dreams and build community.

NCA Pre-school - 5th Grade

NCA's academic program is driven by enthusiastic and highly qualified educators. Our teachers are creative, and energetic and are passionate about guiding youth towards a path of success. Each of them possesses and demonstrates the love of God and shares that quality with our students. NCA students look forward to attending school and embracing new learning adventures.

Our Goal
Our goal is to provide each student a solid foundation centered around biblical principles, instruct them on the daily application of those principles and build confidence in their academic potential as well as individual gifts. We desire to securely prepare them for higher education and aid them in developing a close relationship with the Lord.

Curriculum
The A Beka Book is the accredited curriculum of choice in our elementary school. A Beka Book is recognized as the standard of excellence in the publishing of textbooks and other scholastic materials. The A Beka Book approach to education keeps learning lively, interesting, and memorable. Their materials reflect sensible theory that is firmly anchored to practicality. Skilled researchers do primary research on every subject. Thus, their publications are built upon a firm foundation of absolute truth and sound scholarship and are written by dedicated and talented scholars well-grounded in the practical aspects of classroom teaching. Curriculum Inclusion
Noah-Christian Academy is well-known for its curriculum inclusions such as financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and the arts. NCA is well known for the cultural competence displayed by its teachers and the culturally responsive instructional techniques integrated with classroom lessons. These attributes allow for the diverse needs of all students to be met.

NCA's annual Career Week has become an anticipated and thriving program for students. Through the success of these programs, NCA has produced young entrepreneurs and an international, published author.

Activities
Elementary activities include Art, Choir. P.E. and Morning Devotions (Chapel) for all grades.

Partnerships
Noah-Christian Academy is partnered with the Education and Physical Education Departments of Roanoke College. NCA receives college interns each semester, which has been a rewarding experience for our students!
